The Matsonford Road widening project has been completed. The widening created a left-turn lane to the I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway)/I476 (Blue Route) on-ramp for traffic coming off the Fayette Street /Matsonford Bridge and alleviates heavy traffic congestion that regularly occurs there.
