                                               MISSION STATEMENT   

     We, the West Conshohocken Borough Police Department exist to serve all people within our jurisdiction with respect, fairness and compassion.  We are committed to the prevention of crime, and the protection of life and property; the preservation of peace, order, and safety; the enforcement of laws and ordinances; and the safeguarding of constitutional guarantees.
 
     With community service as our foundation, we are driven by goals to enhance the quality of life, investigating problems as well as incidents, seeking solutions and fostering a sense of security in communities and individuals. We nurture public trust by holding ourselves to the highest standards of performance and ethics.
 
    To fulfill its mission, the West Conshohocken Borough Police Department is dedicated to providing a quality work environment and the development of its members through effective training and leadership.

 At the July and August Council Meetings, Sergeant Steven Walker, Officer Brian Raskiewicz, Officer Andrew Carlin and Officer John Bianchini received Proclamations for exemplary service to the community and working in partnership with public service agencies. These officers along with officers from Conshohocken Borough, Whitemarsh Township,  members of George Clay Fire Department, Washington Fire Company, and Conshohocken # 2 Fire Company  assisted with the successful resolution of two separate encounters on Matsonford Bridge.

 Officer Brandon Unruh will be away serving his country in Afghanistan until the end of the year.  The entire Borough together with his coworkers would like to express our gratitude for his service to our country and this community.  We extend our sincere wishes for his safe return after his tour of duty is complete.
